First it looks pretty little town, with ´center managable on foot in 30 minutes. Then you discover that is so much more then the town. Vineries or Bodegas are everywhere around the city, with possibilities of giving turists a short peep talk about process of making wine and then the best part comes with wine tasting. There is also lots of chocolate and olives, which make the same show... I was actually surprised, when I booked the tasting tour... for 45 pesos argentinos (9 euros), we got a trip to 2 bodegas (5 samples of wine), one liquer private company (1 liquer to taste) and olive oil making company (tasting of 3 different olive oils on bread, and dried tomatoes and picked eggplant on bread). It was quite an interesting afternoon for small price.
and the funny interesting fact is, that to ACONCAGUA top peak, there are 2 Slovenian routes! I was quite proud on our little nation, to make a mark on the map:)
Chilean border... we explored the customs procedure the next day.... 1 hour of burocracy....They should invent the ´Schengen` border for less complications:)
